Research guide
Describe what you want to learn and who you are talking to, and Moderators drafts a guide with goals, questions and follow-ups. You edit it before the study starts.
The AI moderated interview features in Moderators cover the whole study: a research guide, one link for participants, an AI moderator that follows up by chat or voice, and findings with quotes. Team, Scale and Enterprise add seats, a custom-branded link, a findings repository, an API, SSO, roles, an SLA, invoices and data retention controls.

What actually changed before you cancelled?
It got expensive.
Expensive compared to what?
Our team shrank from nine people to four.
Quote from the interview
“I knew it was in there somewhere, so I gave up and asked a colleague.”
Describe what you want to learn and who you are talking to, and Moderators drafts a guide with goals, questions and follow-ups. You edit it before the study starts.
The moderator reads each answer and asks the next question based on it. It can ask for an example or ask why, rather than moving down a fixed list. The how it works page shows the flow.
Participants can talk in a chat or by voice. Every plan sets a monthly limit of chat interviews and voice minutes, from 100 chat interviews and 120 voice minutes on Starter to 2,500 chat interviews and 1,800 voice minutes on Enterprise.
You share one link per study. You invite your own customers, because Moderators does not run a respondent panel or recruit people for you. On Team and higher plans the link can be custom-branded.
Answers are grouped into themes, and each theme is backed by quotes from participants. You can open the transcript behind a quote to see the full conversation.
Scale and Enterprise keep past studies in a findings repository, so earlier results stay in one place for your team.
Scale includes API access for teams that want to work with their studies in their own tools.
Starter includes 1 seat, Team includes 5 seats and Scale includes 15 seats. Seats are the people on your side who run studies and read findings.
Enterprise adds SSO and roles, so access follows the way your organization is set up. The research data security page covers the data side.
Enterprise also includes an SLA, invoices and data retention controls, and it is still self-serve with a visible price.
The same moderator runs customer interviews, usability tests, concept tests, churn interviews, win-loss interviews and AI focus groups. You change the goals and questions in the guide. For a team that wants one tool for all of them, the user research platform page explains the setup.
Starter covers one person with chat and voice. Team adds seats and the branded link. Scale adds the repository and API. Enterprise adds SSO, roles, SLA, invoices and retention controls. Every price is on the ai moderator pricing page.
