Online focus group platform for hearing many voices
An online focus group platform lets you hear how a segment thinks without gathering them in a room. Moderators does it as many separate online conversations: an AI moderator talks with each person on your list by chat or voice, then combines the answers into themes with quotes. It does not host a live video group, and it does not supply the participants.

Here is the idea. What is your first reaction?
Useful, but I would not pay for it on its own.
What would make it worth paying for?
If it filled in the weekly numbers for me.
Quote from the interview
“Nothing told me if I had done it right.”
What do you need before you start?
A question, a segment and a way to reach them. The question might be "How do small agencies decide which tools to adopt?" The segment might be your own customers in that category. The way to reach them is any channel you already use: a newsletter, an in-app message, an email to a list.
What does the platform do?
It drafts the discussion guide, hosts every conversation at the link you share, asks follow-up questions, transcribes the answers and groups what people said. You do not need a video room, a scheduler or a note taker.
What is the format?
Each participant has their own private conversation. A video group puts several people on a call at once, which makes it lively but also makes each person wait, perform and sometimes defer to others. Separate conversations give up the interplay and gain candor and coverage.
What do you lose and what do you gain?
You lose live reactions between participants. You gain independent answers, no scheduling conflicts across time zones and a far larger sample than a table of eight. For concept feedback, messaging and reasons for choosing or leaving a product, many teams find that trade worth making.
- No coordinating a shared time across several calendars.
- No dominant voice setting the answer for everyone.
- A full transcript of every contribution, not only the notes that were written down.
How are many answers made usable?
Moderators clusters what people said into themes and counts how many conversations raised each one. You see the shared view first and the quotes under it. Disagreement is preserved, so a split segment appears as a split rather than being smoothed into a middle that nobody holds.
Can you compare segments?
Send different links to different groups and read the results side by side. For example, run the same guide with new customers and with long-time customers and see where their answers diverge. The related AI focus groups page explains the approach in more depth, and the qualitative research software page covers how the analysis side fits in.
Which teams run online groups this way?
Research agencies that need a fast first read for a client brief, insights teams tracking how a segment feels over time and product managers testing a positioning idea before building anything. Participants always come from you. Moderators does not recruit.
What does an online focus group study cost?
Annual billing is the default and takes 50% off. There is no free plan, and a used limit does not return within the period.
- Starter: $99/month, $49.50/month billed annually. 100 chat interviews, 120 voice minutes, 1 seat.
- Team: $249/month, $124.50/month billed annually. 400 chat interviews, 300 voice minutes, 5 seats, custom-branded link.
- Scale: $599/month, $299.50/month billed annually. 1,000 chat interviews, 750 voice minutes, 15 seats, findings repository, API.
- Enterprise: $1,499/month, $749.50/month billed annually. 2,500 chat interviews, 1,800 voice minutes, SSO, roles, SLA, invoices, data retention controls.
If you hear from 200 people in one study on the Team plan, that uses half of the 400 chat interviews. The pricing page shows all four plans.
